MEP Project Engineer - Data Centre Project
Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for an MEP Project Engineer to join their current project in Amsterdam. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.
MEP Project Engineer - Data Centre Project
Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for an MEP Project Engineer to join their current project in Amsterdam. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.
The Amsterdam campus is going through a redevelopment of the existing building, completion of a new building due imminently and design of an adjacent new facility due to conclude this year. This role will require working on projects across all buildings and will be key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality, with the potential to pick up multiple new skills along the way.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, to meet objectives effectively and efficiently.
Ensure project compliance with industry standards, quality requirements and government / local authority regulations.
Play a leading role in the delivery of the project and the overall design and assist the consultants in achieving cost effective and resilient designs.
Provide technical support and guidance across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate communication across project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and addressing any issues promptly.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within projects.

Key Requirements
Excellent technical knowledge of data centre systems, whether mechanical or electrical you must have a good grasp of both disciplines and some knowledge of CSA disciplines.
Strong experience in reviewing consultant design and contractor construction documentation to ensure compliance with the design briefs.
In-depth understanding of Uptime Institute’s Tier requirements.
Experience in reviewing or producing tender documentation for data centre projects.
Experience in project commissioning is preferable but not essential.
