We are looking for an Enterprise Technology Architect to join our technology center, a critical driver of the company’s digital transformation and innovation strategy. In this role, you will develop and maintain enterprise-wide architectures that influence multiple business units and technology platforms. Reporting into the Senior Technology Director, you will lead and mentor teams, foster technical excellence through training programs, and ensure architectural standards are upheld. By taking ownership of strategic technical decisions, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and driving innovative solutions, you will have a direct and lasting impact on the organization.

This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin 2 offices.

What you will do:

- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide architectures, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and cost-effective.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Mentor teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation, provide technical direction, and stay involved in prototyping and proof-of-concepts.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse stakeholders.
- Drive the creation and enforcement of architectural standards and best practices across the organization.
- Lead the resolution of critical technical challenges and roadblocks, developing innovative solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and security.
- Proactively identify opportunities for technology optimization and modernization, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years' experience in software development or architecture, with at least 3+ years' experience in an enterprise architecture role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking mindset, enabling you to design robust, future-proof solutions.
- A track record of designing and implementing complex, cross-functional systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for technology and innovation.
- Hands-on technical expertise.
- A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and innovative workplace culture.

Experience with:

- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and documentation tools.
- One or more cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Azure experience preferable.
- Microservices & Integration (APIs, messaging, containerization).
- Databases (relational, NoSQL) and data management best practices.
- Software Development Methodologies.
- Programming Languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Security & Compliance (understanding of best practices and regulatory standards).
