Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate
Orion Group Life Sciences is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate on behalf of a multinational biopharmaceutical client located in Meath, for an initial 11‑month contract with potential extension.

Position involves supporting the manufacture of late‑stage and launch pipeline biologics at a state‑of‑the‑art single‑use biotechnology facility.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production equipment in accordance with electronic batch records, sampling plans, and standard operating procedures.

Work collaboratively within a dedicated process team where flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Apply problem‑solving skills with a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and development.

Support weekend or out‑of‑hours work as required to meet manufacturing schedules.

Conduct all activities in strict adherence to site safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Support the authoring and revision of electronic batch records, sampling plans, work instructions, and SOPs.

Contribute to the commissioning and qualification of manufacturing systems and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

Level 7 qualification in a Science or Engineering discipline preferred.

A Level 6 qualification with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment will also be considered.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and apply practical problem‑solving skills.

Capable of working both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.

Familiarity with contamination control and batch release requirements.

Experience with Emerson DeltaV , PAS‑X , and automated manufacturing systems.

Proficiency in Single‑Use Technologies within a GMP environment.

Understanding of Upstream and Downstream Unit Operations for monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing.

Experience with both continuous and fed‑batch manufacturing processes.
