Manufacturing Engineer Role Summary

Job Description:

As a key member of our manufacturing team, the Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation and optimizing production processes. This role requires a technical expert with a strong background in engineering principles, automation, assembly processes, laser welding systems, robotics, validation lifecycle, and Six Sigma problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs
  • Design, develop, and test new products or production lines to ensure seamless integration into existing manufacturing cells
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing cell performance and minimize waste
  • Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) to refine product structures and processes
  • Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards, including ISO/TS16949

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, simulation tools, and programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Supervisory experience and excellent leadership skills are highly valued
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
