We are seeking a professional Psychologist to join our team in providing services to children and families with special developmental needs. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, intervening, and providing clinical supervision to ensure ongoing service delivery in alignment with Progressing Disabilities Services. The role is permanent, pensionable, and full-time, offering a stable career path for those who are committed to this field.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the Psychologist will work closely with Consultant Community Paediatrician, Consultant Paediatricians, and other relevant staff to provide comprehensive care to children and families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The job requires the following qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree with honors in Psychology
  • Post-graduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland
  • Professional experience in disability and mental health services
  • Clean driving license and access to a car

In addition to the above qualifications, desirable skills include:

  • Experience in diagnostic assessments, including ADOS and ADI-R
  • Experience with Team Assessments/Assessments of Need
  • Experience in parent training programs and group workshops
