Medforce Recruitment is seeking a skilled Medical Communication Specialist to join an acute Hospital in Dublin. This dynamic multidisciplinary team is ideal for a highly motivated Staff grade professional looking to progress their clinical skills.

The successful candidate will work across general medical / surgical wards, providing comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy services to patients with various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients with complex speech, language, and swallowing difficulties
  • Work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education and training to patients, their families, and staff to support communication and swallowing rehabilitation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to hospital policies and relevant legislation

Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc/MSc)
  • Registration with CORU
  • Minimum of one year's post-graduate experience in a similar setting, ideally within an acute hospital environment
  • Proven experience working with patients with complex medical conditions
