European Communications Director

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and implementing our company's European public affairs strategies, focusing on customers, regulators, and policymakers. It involves monitoring political media and public opinion, understanding their impacts to support advocacy communications and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop key messaging, talking points, and collaterals for EU-based audiences, highlighting the positive impact of our products at Member State and Regional levels.
  • Lead digital advocacy campaigns and paid media content to amplify key messages.
  • Provide crisis management support to address policy or regulatory challenges.
  • Build relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders.
  • Identify and staff speaking engagements and conferences to ensure unified voice and bolster advocacy efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives.
You Must Have
  • Extensive experience in external communications or related field, preferably within regulated industries like energy, sustainability.
  • Proven track record of developing successful communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership abilities.
  • Experience in crisis communication.
