This pivotal role involves shaping the company's European public affairs strategies, focusing on customer-centricity, regulatory engagement, and policy influence. Key responsibilities include developing persuasive advocacy messaging, spearheading digital advocacy campaigns, providing crisis management support, and fostering relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead advocacy messaging for EU-based legislative and regulatory audiences.
  • Drive the development and management of digital advocacy campaigns and paid media content.
  • Provide crisis management support to address potential policy or regulatory challenges.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers.
  • Coordinate policy and regulatory-focused speaking engagements and conferences.
  • Communicate effectively with key associations and customers.
  • Spearhead thought leadership initiatives to enhance executive positioning and brand visibility.
  • Organize and manage advocacy communications materials for customers.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in external communications or a related field.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience in crisis communication and issues management.
