Senior Advocacy Manager: EU Policy Development

This key role will shape and execute the company's European public affairs strategies, focusing on customers, regulators, and policymakers.
As a Director of EU Communications and Public Affairs, you will play a crucial role in monitoring political media and public opinion to support the development of successful advocacy communications and campaigns.
You will have a significant impact on our advocacy efforts and ability to navigate complex policies and regulations within the chemical industry and in the Energy & Sustainability sector.
This role will be a key contributor to our global government relations and corporate affairs efforts to anticipate and respond to changes in political and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing key advocacy messaging, talking points, and collateral for EU-based legislative and regulatory audiences.
- Leading digital advocacy campaigns and paid media content to amplify key messages.
- Providing crisis and issue management support to address potential policy or regulatory challenges.
- Building relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
We value candidates with extensive experience in external communications or related fields, particularly within chemicals or other regulated industries like energy, sustainability, etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and team management abilities, and experience in crisis communication and issues management.
