Senior Engineer in Commercial Technologies

This role is responsible for leading the implementation team, designing and developing applications and systems to meet business objectives.

The technical lead will work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop solutions through application of engineering principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications and systems
  • Planning and executing system implementations to ensure success and minimize risk
  • Demonstrating problem solving ability to resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Analyzing production system operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Providing technical guidance to managed service partners
  • Participating in code and design planning/reviews to ensure industry standards are met
  • Establishing and developing relations with business stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software development and ITIL concepts
  • Expertise in Agile development, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure platforms
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset and ability to lead with business objectives
