Product Manager Role Summary

The product manager plays a crucial role in driving business success by defining and delivering high-impact products that meet customer needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior product owner responsible for leading the development of key data analytics services used by financial institutions across Europe.

Job Description
  • Define, develop, and own the product roadmap for key data analytics solutions.
  • Provide clear direction and strategy for product development activities.
  • Work closely with data science, GRC, and HRIS subject matter experts to ensure governance, risk compliance, and human capital management techniques are integral to the proposition.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives and customer/end-user requirements, translating them into actionable backlogs for delivery teams.
  • Assess market competition by evaluating the company's current and planned products against alternative offerings.
  • Gather market data by engaging with customers and evaluating feedback to inform product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to determine future pricing structures for new markets and product enhancements.
  • Ensure consistency, strength, and clarity in the product value proposition by collaborating with product marketing, marketing, and sales functions.
  • Manage external vendor and partner relationships as required.
  • Establish delivery schedules with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely product releases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8 years hands-on experience in a lead product development or product management role.
  • Third-level degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, data analytics).
  • Highly resilient personality with extensive stakeholder and customer management experience.
  • Previous experience as a SaaS or analyst, product owner, or product manager, preferably on highly scalable data management, data analytics, or data integration services and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of business intelligence and machine learning concepts is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in defining and designing new product concepts for delivery in cloud computing environments (Azure/AWS) and leveraging the core infrastructure, platform, and service capabilities of cloud environments to drive rapid implementation.
  • Release management experience and ability to drive release planning and rapid release cycles.
  • Agile practices experience working in an agile environment.
  • Attention to detail with an analytical, quantitative mindset.
  • Flexibility to operate successfully in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage and influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
