Job Title: Care Team Leader

Our client provides exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities in North Cork and Co Limerick. Their focus is on delivering services that allow children and adults with disabilities to live life to the fullest potential.

The successful candidate will be based in Croom, Limerick and will work as a full-time member of our team. This role requires a degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a relevant qualification, CORU registration, or eligibility for CORU registration.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities, proven managerial skills, and an appropriate management qualification of a minimum of QQI level 6. The ability to work independently and supervise staff/service users in a residential setting is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service user needs are being met
  • Teach daily living and social skills through daily activities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users
  • Engage in activities and complete household tasks
  • Keep accurate records of service user documentation
