Job Summary:

This is a part-time or full-time opportunity for a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care and support to children and adolescents.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Clinical Leadership: Work with our team to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that promote best practice in residential care.
  • Conduct Assessments and Interventions: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of each child or adolescent, and provide interventions to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Develop Therapeutic Plans: Work with our team to develop and implement personalized plans that promote the emotional and psychological well-being of our service users.
  • Liaise with Families and Stakeholders: Collaborate with families, carers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support for our service users.


Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Qualification: A postgraduate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology is essential for this role.
  • Experience Working with Children: You should have experience working with children or young people, ideally in a similar setting.
  • Clinical Leadership: As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be expected to demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Professional Registration: You must be registered with the relevant professional body and meet all requirements for practice in Ireland.
