At Icds Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our supply chain.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing world-class supply chain processes that meet the needs of our multi-technology environment. This will involve managing suppliers to deliver quality products to our internal customers through product and process investigations and evaluations.

You will also be responsible for liaising with external suppliers to ensure they are trained and adhere to First Article, Quality and Regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will issue Supplier Corrective Action Reports and work with suppliers on Root Cause Investigations and Corrective action.

In this role, you will conduct Supplier Performance Reviews and report Key Supplier Quality metrics. You will also support technology transfer initiatives and new projects by assessing and selecting new suppliers where applicable.

You will provide day-to-day inspection expertise support to our Purchased Material Inspection Department (PMI) in the areas of Component and Mechatronic Inspection. You will act as a technical reference to interface with suppliers and contribute to the continuous development of our quality system.

This includes writing concise technical reports and developing standard operating procedures (SOP's). You will support a strong supplier focus to ensure that requirements are met appropriately and oversee relevant KPI's for supplier quality oversight.

Internally, you will support the demands of our spares and manufacturing operation. You will work with external functional quality and supplier management groups and utilize digitalization tools to identify areas for improvement and streamline Quality reports.

We require at least 3 years' relevant experience and a minimum of a third-level qualification in an appropriate discipline (Quality Management, Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering) OR commensurate experience.

Key skills and knowledge include mechanical, mechatronic and electromechanical measurement systems, inspection methodologies such as fabricated/machined metal mechanical/visual inspection, precision linear measurement, non-contact measurement, moulded and machined plastics inspection and measurement, geometrical tolerancing, and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
