We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurses to join our palliative care team in Galway and Mayo.
Role Overview Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to patients and their families in a supportive and collaborative environment. They will provide expert care in a dynamic and challenging setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in specialist care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centered palliative care within the In-Patient Unit (IPU)
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in specialist care
Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- At least 12 months post-graduate experience
- Experience in palliative care or oncology desirable but not essential
- Postgraduate Diploma in Palliative Care (or similar e.g. Oncology, Hematology, Gerontology) desirable, or willingness to undertake following probation
