Project Manager for Building Automation Team

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our growing Building Automation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role

  • You will be accountable for project margin and take steps to increase the financial health of the project.
  • You will establish schedules for projects and carefully monitor project progress for completion.
  • You will accurately forecast resources required for your projects.
  • You will review and monitor potential sources of risk and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • You will present Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for project financials, including but not limited to:
  • Project Financial Reporting
  • Cost projections/cash flow reporting
  • Monthly job Invoicing
  • Quantify and draft change orders

Qualifications

  • You should have at least 3-5 years of project leadership experience – project management or technical lead.
  • You should have experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Microsoft Project.
  • You should have basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
  • You should have basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
  • You should have basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
