We are looking for a highly skilled professional to lead our Chemical API project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Be a technology leader in nominated areas, including:
  • Staying current with technical and subject knowledge
  • Awareness of upcoming technology changes, developments, and innovations
  • Writing papers and presenting at industry conferences
  • Promoting knowledge exchange within the company using appropriate forums and teams

You will be responsible for performing as an SME for early project phases, typically including production and/or checking of early phase project deliverables. This may include scoping and philosophy documents, process flow diagrams, equipment requirements, P&IDs, and layout philosophies.

  • Assist project teams as required
  • Undertake Peer Reviews of work performed by other companies
  • Perform SME reviews of client sites
  • Engage with global network of SMEs and other staff, assisting in the training and mentoring of the next generation of Subject Matter Experts

You will also participate in technical design reviews, support process risk assessments, and actively contribute to our R&D Team (Tech Team) and associated development and innovation activities.

This role requires a high level of expertise in the processes involved in the development, scale-up, and commercial production of Chemical APIs. You should have deep knowledge in aspects related to unit operations, facility layout, technologies, and project delivery.

In addition, you should have excellent knowledge relating to your area of specialty and direct experience working within capital projects and delivery related to process facility design and construction.

A good appreciation of regulatory frameworks, such as FDA, EMA, ICH Guidelines, is also essential.
