Job Title:

A Skilled Maintenance Specialist is required to maintain and repair equipment in our facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, and establishing relationships with suppliers and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, mechanical systems, and CMMS software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair moulding equipment, including moulding machines, automation/robots, water heaters, oil heaters, conveyors, and hot runner controllers
  • Troubleshoot equipment/plant problems with production managers
  • Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and business development
  • Schedule and facilitate internal meetings to prioritize tasks and resolve issues
  • Implement new processes and systems developed under the direction of the operations manager
  • Instruct others on manufacturing-related skills or knowledge and assist in employee training
  • Comply with site environmental, health and safety requirements, training, and regulations
  • Support lean sigma programs and activities to deliver set targets

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Electrical required
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
  • Sound knowledge of CMMS and MS Office
  • Any other certifications a plus
  • Able to comply with company safety and quality policies
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming and electrical work
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings
  • Ability to interact with suppliers, customers, and external contractors
