Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist for a Medical Device project in Galway, Ireland.

This is an initial 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Decompose system-based requirements to create electrical product specifications.
  • Product Analysis: Conduct design outputs and characterization result reviews to ensure integration between hardware and firmware.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (Systems, Firmware, Mechanical) to root cause design issues, create test suites, and verify designs.
  • Test and Validation: Characterize and analyze product performance using DFSS techniques and validate test environments.
  • Documentation: Perform and document verification of electrical product requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Interface with certified test houses to verify compliance to global regulatory standards including ISO 14971 and IEC 60601.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical product development for medical devices.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging analog and digital circuitry, custom batteries, and motor control systems.
  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline.
