Senior Business Tax Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Dublin tax team as a Senior Business Tax Manager. This role is designed for individuals who possess a high level of technical expertise in tax and have a keen ambition to further develop their skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the tax practice in Ireland, building on the existing client portfolio. They will take ownership of delivering tax services to clients, developing the team around them, and expanding our services as the client's needs evolve.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and oversight of a team of qualified and part-qualified tax professionals, including all aspects of performance management.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, potential clients, and senior leaders across the firm's practice areas and office locations.
  • Leading the delivery of a high-quality and proactive service to a portfolio of client engagements in accordance with best practice procedures, internal controls, and review processes.
  • Monitoring progress, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes, including variances to expected budget and timelines.
  • Promoting an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment, including coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Acting as a technical expert and having a strong knowledge and application of tax principles and standards.
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the tax practice, including business development activities and the achievement of financial objectives, including new business targets and timely fee billing and cash collection.
