Our client is a multi-disciplinary Building services contractor with extensive expertise in commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors.
They require an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years Irish post graduate experience.
This role involves undertaking design review of technical drawings, specifications and schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring works are installed in accordance with project specifications & to the project QA plan.
In addition, you will develop various engineering solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
You will also be responsible for reviewing coordinated construction drawings and docs, preparing & monitoring technical submittals for client approval.
Key requirements for this role include a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, 2+ years' experience in a similar role and excellent IT skills in AutoCAD, Navisworks or Revit, Microsoft Office.
Demonstrable knowledge of current electrical, fire alarm and emergency lighting standards within Ireland is essential.
A strong communication skillset and ability to work as part of a team is required for this position.
