The Reliability Specialist plays a vital role in improving asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimization of the site maintenance process. This specialist is responsible for maintaining the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program, analyzing equipment history within the CMMS, reducing and improving maintenance work, and implementing digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
This position requires strong analytical skills to analyze and identify trends and patterns, as well as experience with CMMS knowledge and analytics. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to build and foster relationships with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Maintains the CBM program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of results.
- Analyses equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns.
- Reduces and improves maintenance work.
- Benchmarks other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques.
- Implements digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
- Coaches the planner and scheduler to ensure that PM/PdM services meet key metrics such as schedule adherence, costs, resource utilization and others.
- Engineering degree qualification, preferably mechanical or electrical.
- +5 years of professional experience.
- Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in industrial environment or within a specialized consultancy.
