Cope Galway is a leading provider of homeless services in Galway City. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Homeless Services Accommodation Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suitable private emergency accommodation, coordinating with providers, and ensuring that required standards are met. This role requires strong interpersonal and administrative skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key duties include:
- Forward planning regarding placements required
- Actively seeking and securing suitable placements
- Engagement with accommodation providers in relation to accommodation related complaints and feedback
- Monitoring attendance in accommodation and providing attendance reports
The ideal candidate will have experience working with homeless people and/or other vulnerable groups, excellent communication skills, and the ability to treat clients in a non-judgmental and respectful way.
