We are seeking an experienced commercial vehicle technician to join our workforce.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time permanent position responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles.
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and adhering to company procedures are essential responsibilities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and filing accurate paperwork in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintenance of machinery and equipment requires operation within authorised training and clearance parameters.
  • Prompt identification and rectification of vehicle faults using diagnostic tools is critical to success.
  • Compliance with all relevant management system procedures is mandatory.
  • Active participation in provided training opportunities is expected.
  • All quality and safety risks, concerns, or areas for improvement must be reported promptly to supervisors or management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform routine servicing and repair of trucks, trailers, and tankers as required.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness is maintained within the workshop environment.
  • Complete and accurately file all necessary paperwork according to company policies.
  • Operate only machinery and equipment for which you have received proper training and authorisation.
  • Diagnose and effectively rectify vehicle faults using available diagnostic equipment.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company management system procedures.
  • Participate actively in any training programs provided by the organisation.
  • Identify and report any potential quality or safety risks, concerns, or areas for improvement to your supervisor or management immediately.
