We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team of experts in vehicle maintenance.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for career growth and professional development. As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including NCT preparation, servicing, recalls and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and their urgency level.
  • Provide customers with accurate estimates for completing work and communicate clearly about vehicle issues.
  • Test vehicles to ensure repairs were successful, which may involve road tests.
  • Perform annual NCTs on vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Deliver standard vehicle servicing, including oil changes, tire rotations and brake pad replacements.
  • Work with car accessory databases and order parts as needed to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs and work logs to track progress and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Car Mechanic in a similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
