Residential Care Leader Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new respite centre for children and adults.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of person-centred services to adults and children, in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
The role involves management planning and implementing the delivery of services, ensuring that the designated centre operates in line with strategic plans, policies, procedures, guidelines, and safety statements.
Key duties include:
- Providing leadership and supervision in clinical practice, acting as a resource and role model for staff.
- Ensuring all relevant records and documentation are kept up-to-date, particularly those related to people supported and staff, in compliance with record-keeping legislation and HIQA requirements.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care.
- Responsible for the direction and running of the unit, ensuring that people supported receive a home-like atmosphere and their health, recreational, and other needs are met.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships based on respect and equality, promoting independence.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care, along with a relevant management qualification.
Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development, possess the requisite knowledge and ability, and have a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity.
A proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality, regulatory, and legislative requirements, along with strong budget management skills, report writing, personal support plans, roster management, full current driving license, and excellent IT skills.
