Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a project-based product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems to meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful applicant will analyze customer requirements to identify electrical needs, distinguish between project-specific or new requirements, and manage electrical requirements to ensure all needs are met.
  • They will also liaison with customers to discuss design requirements and details, document control console layouts and functions, generate specifications for electrical equipment, and integrate electrical sub-systems and solutions.
  • Additionally, they will specify electrical components, create electrical piece lists, and ensure assembly and testing of electrical systems are carried out to the necessary standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum Level 7 degree in Automation / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering is required.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
  • The successful applicant should be confident at challenging the status quo and open to adapting new technologies or techniques.
  • They should also have familiarity with Zuken E3 or similar drawing packages, as well as the ability to analyze problems and derive solutions.
  • Experience managing project requirements and schedules is also highly desirable.
