The role of Economic Consulting Associate is a unique opportunity to apply economic analysis to make a real impact on policy, working alongside a talented team of analysts, researchers, evaluators and economists. As a key member of the Consulting Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality research, policy and economic consulting services to public and private sector clients across Ireland and internationally.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify opportunities for growth and developing project plans detailing tasks to be completed and review dates and times
  • Preparing quality proposals in line with tender specifications and conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis, reporting and visualization
  • Undertaking specialist economic research, such as cost benefit analysis or economic evaluations, and accessing and examining administrative datasets from national and international organizations
  • Providing economic input as required to support the team's work and learning ethos


The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record with numerical proficiency, some experience in economic research and evaluation, excellent spoken and written communication skills, and high proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint. A motivated and passionate individual who wishes to use economic analysis to drive business success is highly sought after.
