The role of an Account Executive is a dynamic position that combines relationship management and revenue expansion. As a key player in driving growth within assigned accounts, the ideal candidate will possess a track record of success in consultative sales and account management within a SaaS model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programmatic engagement with existing clients to develop and maintain relationships while uncovering additional use cases and opportunities to grow incremental revenue.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on established sales methodology and metrics, including client fit and success criteria.
  • Position the value proposition as part of the overall business solution, linking benefits back to key business issues.
  • Expand the solution beyond initial implementation and consistently seek new business opportunities by presenting, recommending, and upselling new products and services.
  • Process sales orders and facilitate customer onboarding.
  • Handle customer needs for engagement with other resources, such as professional services, training, product management, and marketing.
  • Enlist customers to participate in events.
  • Provide accurate, timely reports and forecasts as needed.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated knowledge of products and services.
  • Maintain current and accurate account information in CRM databases.
  • Manage customer loyalty, serving as internal advocate and escalation point.

Designation

This role is designated as Hybrid, requiring access to an office location. The employee divides their time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum weekly expectation of two days in-office.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Experience in consultative sales and account management within a SaaS model.
  • Proficiency using sales force automation tools, Microsoft Office applications, and Excel.

  • Consistent track record meeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets.
  • Services/consulting delivery experience.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of concurrent client relationships.
  • Capacity to identify, critique, suggest, and implement intelligent changes to client business optimization processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to change.
  • Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively at all levels.
  • BS/BA degree.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
