Job Title: Inventory Data Coordinator

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory records across multiple warehouses to ensure accurate and efficient stock levels. This role involves collaborating with warehouse staff, other internal teams, and external partners to achieve our goals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Cycle counts must be completed on a monthly basis to verify bin accuracy.
  • Liaison with warehouse staff and internal teams is required regarding stock delivery and storage.
  • Inventories must be maintained up-to-date.
  • A weekly reconciliation of stock valuation reports with the general ledger accounting system is necessary.
  • Assistance in enhancing and developing software that drives the inventory function is expected.
  • Regular quality control checks are required for goods being dispatched to customers.
  • Familiarity with purchasing plans is essential to manage warehouse space efficiently.
  • All physical and NAV internal stock transfers from one warehouse to another or bin to bin must be managed.
  • Required stock adjustments through internal systems (movement of stock into Refurb/Demo codes) must be executed.
  • The annual company audit requires full engagement in stock verification and valuation.
  • Maintaining item dimension and weight information in NAV is crucial.
  • Reviewing order delivery methods and suggesting improvements for efficiency gains is also important.
  • Effective use of Excel for reporting is vital.
  • Ad-hoc projects related to stock and inventory require input from this role.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience as a Stock Controller or similar role. They must have actively participated in inventory audits and possess qualifications in data analytics or supply chain management. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Navision is desirable.
