Electrician Vacancy: Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team in Ballina, Ireland.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems nationwide on domestic, commercial, and agricultural premises according to Safe Electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
  • Additionally, they will conduct electrical inspections and troubleshoot issues in solar systems, utilizing specialized equipment to test and verify system performance.
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems and components is essential, as well as valid FETAC craft certification, Safe Pass, and Manual handling certifications.
  • A clean driving license is also required for the role, as occasional travel may be necessary.
  • As a member of our team, the successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified electrician
  • Completion of the SEAI Solar PV course desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Valid FETAC craft cert
  • Safe Pass & Manual handling certs required
  • A full clean driving license
