Mep Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our team. As an MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all building services, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical systems.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of building services equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of building services to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
  • Manage and oversee a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to building services and facilities maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departmental managers to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage and reduce energy consumption across various building services.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards associated with building services.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building services equipment, ensuring prompt response to any emergencies.
  • Implement efficient processes to monitor and optimize building services performance.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building services management, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to building services and facilities maintenance.
