Job Title:

A Team Leader position is available at our residential centre, providing high-quality care and support to young people.

">Job Description

The Team Leader will work closely with the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the day-to-day management of the centre. They will be responsible for overseeing the therapeutic approach and coordinating appointments, as well as liaising with professionals regarding care plans and referrals.

">Responsibilities
  • To assist the manager in creating and maintaining a caring, safe, stable and professional environment for both the young people to live in and the staff to work in.
  • Overseeing the teams therapeutic approach alongside the manager and therapeutic team and co-ordinating appointments etc.
  • To take a lead role alongside the manager and deputy manager in liaising with professionals re: care plans, referrals, monitoring and inspection, future development of the centre etc.
  • To oversee key working and report progress/issues to manager.
  • To ensure files in the centre are kept to inspection and registration standards and report any issues to manager.
  • To liaise with outside professionals at meetings and conferences to actively promote the organisation.
Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU
  • 2 years' full-time relevant experience of working at social care grade with children/young persons
  • Full manual driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
  • Have full eligibility and availability to work with us without restriction
