We are seeking a qualified educator with expertise in furniture design who can prepare learners to meet industry requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and a passion for sharing knowledge.
PurposeThe primary focus of this role is to contribute to the academic direction of our module, including teaching, assessment and administration.
Furniture Design ModuleThe aim of this module is to equip learners with skills in designing and detailing innovative furniture solutions. The main objective is to provide learners with a broad understanding of the design, manufacturing and sourcing process in relation to furniture.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials to prepare learners for industry requirements.
- Develop and deliver learning and teaching materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Contribute to leading-edge practice and undertake research activity.
- Ensure efficient delivery of teaching programmes in line with college policy.
