
Business Development Executive

This role involves overseeing a portfolio of accounts across the UK and European regions, ensuring sales targets are met, and identifying opportunities for growth.
To achieve this, the successful candidate will lead account development and penetration strategies for assigned customers or regions. They should possess excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of accounts in the UK and Europe
- Develop positive relationships with clients and address conflicts promptly
- Offer advice on packaging or FMCG experience as relevant
- Provide marketing, sales, and product information to existing and potential customers through various channels
- Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams, understanding production processes
- Identify and target business development opportunities in domestic and export markets
- Negotiate new price structures for new and existing customers
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to forecast spend and prepare budgeting information
- Analyze shortfalls in individual customer expenditure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Packaging or FMCG
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
