Store Leadership Opportunity

The role of a Store Manager is multifaceted, with key responsibilities including:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all customers.
  • Maintaining a harmonious atmosphere for customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the merchandising and presentation of the store are of the highest standard at all times. Manage all Points of Sale effectively.
  • Communicating performance expectations to all staff members and ensuring they understand and implement such standards.
  • Monitoring departmental productivity in collaboration with the Fresh Food Department lead.
  • Adhering to inventory management procedures and coordinating quarterly stocktaking exercises.
  • Implementing efficient ordering processes and prudent inventory control.
  • Monitoring departmental expenses, ensuring that operational targets are achieved.
  • Conducting regular team meetings.
  • Providing leadership to Junior Management and staff, fostering a positive work environment within the store.
  • Liaising with the management team to ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Developing personal skills through technical training and professional development.
  • Ensuring that store facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Assuming senior manager responsibilities when required.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of all Health & Safety regulations and their application within the store.
