Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young individuals. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will provide nurturing care, protection, and encouragement to vulnerable or dependent young individuals, whether individually or in groups.

You will be given the opportunity to work closely with a diverse array of professionals from various disciplines and external agencies to develop customized interventions aimed at overcoming the specific challenges hindering these young individuals from remaining in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key support figure for individual young people, fostering partnerships with external agencies referred to the service.
  • Provide support to young individuals who have undergone trauma or exhibit challenging behaviour.
  • Advocate for the social work, aftercare, education, training, and legal rights of young individuals.
  • Foster the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of each young person under our care.
