We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Manager of Risk & Compliance. As a member of our risk management team, you will play a key role in ensuring that Fidelity Investments Inc. maintains the highest standards of risk management and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing second-line oversight and challenge through formal risk and control assessments, control testing, and regular interactions with Fidelity Corporate Support Functions.
- Supporting other enterprise and governance risk activities, including Top-Down Risk Assessment and Bottoms-Up Risk Assessment.
- Supporting the oversight of regional compliance with enterprise ethics and compliance policies.
- Leading and managing compliance readiness assessments across Fidelity Corporate Support Functions.
- Taking the lead in the delivery of comprehensive management information to senior management, including the Risk Committees.
- Working with support functions to mitigate, manage, and monitor risks across the organization.
- Performing ad-hoc project-based work, including reporting and analyses as the need arises.
- Partnering with many cross-functional teams across the globe within Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Support Functions.
- Cooking and mentoring team members to enhance their risk management skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, business administration) essential.
- Hold extensive experience in operational and enterprise risk management within a financial services environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in risk assessment tools, control testing methodologies, scenario analysis, risk appetite documentation, risk reporting to senior management and board, KRIs/KCIs identification, documentation, and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment with experience of working in regulations/guidance issued by the Central Bank of Ireland and other independent EU authorities.
- Exceptional communication skills and knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies with the ability to impact and influence decisions across the organization.
- Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and empowering others to deliver.
