Job DescriptionWe are seeking a results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Sligo branch and drive business growth through strategic leadership, customer excellence, and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring full regulatory compliance. You will also cultivate strong relationships with customers, deliver sales growth, and instill a culture of collaboration and innovation within the branch.
You will oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensure optimal capacity planning, and maintain a strong risk and control culture within the branch.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services leadership, excellent commercial acumen, and strong people leadership skills. You will be able to inspire and motivate your team to achieve exceptional results and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Lead and manage high-performing teams to achieve exceptional results
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to deliver outstanding service
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Maintain a strong risk and control culture within the branch
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full QFA qualification with all CPD requirements up to date
- Established branch leadership experience, ideally with several years at Branch Manager or Deputy Manager level within retail financial services
- Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to deliver sales targets through both personal initiative and team leadership
- People leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and staff development
- A customer-first mindset, with excellent relationship-building and problem-solving capabilities
- Commitment to compliance, with a sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and strong risk management discipline
