Accounts Officer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accounts professional to join our organization. As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits and verifications, reconciling sales and banking transactions, and managing the Accounts Receivable ledger.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reconcile VAT and ensure compliance with standard procedures
  • Train Front Office staff on accounting practices
  • Report on revenue variances and manage cash floats and petty cash
  • Prepare regular financial reports and assist with month-end processes, payroll, budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting
  • Support Accounts Payable with invoice queries and collaborate with hotel management and external finance teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong accounts experience within the hospitality industry, with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also essential, along with effective communication and a solid understanding of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
