Lead Nursing Care Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Nursing Care Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of older people.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high standards of care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure optimal care outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
  • Minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
  • Hold a third-level qualification in management.
  • Ability to manage one's own workload effectively while responding flexibly to new demands at short notice.
  • Demonstrate an ability to embrace change and be committed to continuous improvement and learning throughout the residential care home.
  • Have the skill to influence others, build constructive relationships and achieve outcomes.
  • Promote an ethos and culture of quality assurance within the clinical area, identifying and establishing benchmarks and KPIs in consultation with senior management.
  • Be a Registered General Nurse.
