Job Summary

  • In the absence of the Director of Nursing, this role undertakes the responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Liaise with senior managers to deliver exceptional service quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in clinical management, providing resident care, communicating effectively with families, managing staff performance, monitoring standards, developing policies, and delivering training.
  • Coordinate quality and safety systems, including clinical risk management and resident involvement.
  • Lead by example a professional, punctual team.
  • Contribute to policy development and standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in nursing older persons within the last 6 years, a minimum of 7 years post-registration experience, and a third-level qualification in management.
