We are seeking a skilled Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, close-knit practice in Mullingar.

The Role
  • 70% Small Animal: Routine consults, general surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • 30% Large Animal: Mainly farm animal calls including calvings and surgeries

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, with OOH rota: 1 night per week and 1 in 4 weekends. Enhanced annual leave entitlements offered.

Requirements
  • Must be a VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • At least 2 years' post qualification experience in mixed practice
  • Small Animal: Confident in routine surgeries
  • Large Animal: Proficient in calvings, sections, and general farm calls
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to clinical work and team involvement
