Job Overview

The Senior Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring project success while fostering strong relationships and maximizing commercial value.

This involves collaborating with customers, effectively managing costs and value, identifying potential risks, and negotiating contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders on commercial matters, including agreements for additional funds.
  • Maintain control over project expenses by implementing suitable systems and procedures.
  • Negotiate complex contracts with clients and employers.
  • Develop and manage project cost reporting systems to monitor direct works costs and financial performance.
  • Respond to changes in client needs and expectations by proposing appropriate actions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant third-level qualification.
  • Possess 15+ years of experience in commercial civils management and leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Hold experience with bonds, warranties, insurances, and financial management.
