About this role

As a seasoned electrical design professional, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for our clients. Your work will involve designing and commissioning state-of-the-art automated equipment for manufacturing life-saving medical devices.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Design Engineer. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Designing new electrical systems and concepts
  • Evaluating customer specifications and requirements
  • Selecting appropriate components and materials for electrical systems
  • Ensuring all electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with mechanical engineers, software developers, project managers, and customers to deliver integrated solutions
  • Performing electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Providing technical support to estimation, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant electrical design discipline
  • 1-3 years' experience in an electrical design role or relevant exposure to electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and electrical simulation tools is advantageous but not essential
  • Proactive with excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a multifunctional team
