Senior Electrical Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to provide electrical and safety design expertise to the Equipment Engineering department.
This role involves designing, manufacturing, documenting, and continuously improving equipment for medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD Electrical and pneumatic circuit design, as well as strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Designing equipment electrical designs that meet manufacturing, safety, CE, and performance requirements.
- Identifying and mitigating potential safety risks to ensure equipment meets CE marking standards.
- Collaborating with internal client engineers to understand equipment requirements.
- Working closely with vendors to ensure equipment supplied meets client specifications.
- Delivering equipment solutions within planned schedules.
- An Engineering qualification equivalent to or above NFQ Level 8.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the design and build of equipment for the medical device industry.
