Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our IT Operations team. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects to enhance or replace technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in designing and building underlying/core infrastructure solutions at enterprise level, as well as experience working with Microsoft Applications and the underlying infrastructure designs required.

This is a great opportunity for ambitious individuals looking to further their experience on a large-scale government project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape infrastructure solutions with internal stakeholders and line managers
  • Lead and coordinate with 3rd parties to deliver technology designs and develop supporting technical design documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with Technology team members, project stakeholders, and key 3rd party suppliers
  • Ensure all technical solutions and services are delivered in a quality and timely manner

Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • Third Level Degree/Diploma or Postgraduate Qualification in Computer Science, IT, or relevant area
  • 10 years enterprise IT experience, at least 5 of which should have been spent as an architect or in an architecture-based role
  • Experience working with and managing IT Managed Services providers and vendors
