Mobile Heating Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Heating Systems Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive inspections and maintenance on boilers, burners, gas installation & detection systems, pumps, pressurisation units, booster sets and calorifiers etc. on client sites.

  • This includes trouble shooting and problem solving of heating systems, accurately documenting all work carried out and proposing potential solutions to issues encountered.
  • The ideal candidate will also ensure that equipment is maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, manufacturers recommendations and best practice guides.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will plan and execute works in the most productive manner, guaranteeing that the works comply with site quality standards and guidelines.
  • A key aspect of this role will be ensuring that tasks are completed on time and meet our exceptional quality standards, as well as complying with all safety limitations and procedures as per our Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Other responsibilities include taking responsibility for health and safety on site and leading by example, wearing the correct PPE at all times and keeping the workplace tidy and free of excess materials.

The successful candidate will have a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) - Craft: Plumbing and a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, with strong technical ability.

In addition, they will hold an OFTEC registration and RGI accreditation, and possess an excellent knowledge of all aspects of gas boilers, appliances & heating systems, with a minimum of 4 years servicing experience in a mobile or static position.

The ideal candidate will also have proven health & safety awareness, a thorough understanding of quality systems, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

A full, clean Irish drivers license is also essential, as is excellent verbal communication skills with fluent English.
