Senior Refrigeration Technician Job

Leinster, Ireland-based job opening for a skilled Refrigeration Technician with extensive experience in heat pump systems.

We are seeking an expert to join our technical services team and lead the commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of advanced heating and cooling equipment across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission commercial and residential heat pump systems.

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heat pump equipment.

• Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance.

• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance and training when required.

• Collaborate with project engineers and customers to deliver high-quality service.

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation, adhering to F-Gas regulations and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Refrigeration Technician (Level 6 or equivalent)

• Full, valid F-Gas certification

• Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and/or heat pump systems (commercial and domestic)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Clean driving licence

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and technical manuals

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
