Financial Services Audit Manager

Our client's Financial Services Audit Team is seeking ambitious and driven individuals to join their team due to rapid growth.

  • This exciting opportunity will give you exposure to various industries, including Banking, Asset Management, Funds, and Insurance.


About the Role:

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and ensuring that high-quality audit work is delivered while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will also supervise and train junior members of the team, prepare and present business tenders, manage work in progress and billings, and take full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Project management: Managing a large and diverse portfolio of clients
  2. Promotion and oversight of quality audit work on client engagements
  3. Client relationship management
  4. Supervising and training junior team members
  5. Preparation and presentation of business tenders
  6. Working capital management: Managing work in progress and billings
  7. Client fee negotiation
  8. Managing and reviewing the work of the audit team


Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified

Minimum 5+ years' experience in Funds and/or SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle)

Strong technical skills, including Irish GAAP and auditing standards; IFRS experience an advantage but not essential

Electronic auditing experience; ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines

Ability to make professional judgments based on findings

Portfolio management experience

Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment

Experience working as part of a team supporting others

Commercial awareness

Big 4 accounting firm experience advantageous
